With vaccinations underway, Lakeside is developing policy regarding in-person mediation.
With Texas at 47th in the nation in terms of the percentage of the population vaccinated, we think it unlikely that a sufficient number of Texans will be vaccinated to consider in-person mediations safe before July 1, 2021.
In the interim, we will, considering CDC and other health guidelines, attempt to formulate a safe and coherent policy for in-person mediations after July 1, 2021.
We remain convinced that virtual mediation is as effective as in-person mediation, safer, less challenging logistically, and avoids transportation expense. We expect the vast majority of mediations throughout 2021 and 2022 will be handled virtually.
